Sarah is a full time dispatcher at Northwest Ambulance. She has served 11 years as a volunteer firefighter and 16 years as an EMT. She recently became a First Aid/CPR instructor to be able to continue in helping and working with the community.
She was born in Sedro-Woolley and spent most of her life in Arlington. She since moved back to Sedro-Woolley in 2013. Sarah shares her life with her husband, spoiled Rottweiler Jellybean, two cats and her mini chicken farm. She has one amazing daughter and one amazing stepdaughter.
Sarah enjoys camping and traveling frequently throughout the year. For the past two years she and husband have been volunteering as medical aid for a marathon on the Great Wall of China. They have another trip planned for May 2019 to China.
Thomas Jefferson’s quote
“A candle loses nothing of itself in lighting another candle”
is one of her favorites.
She interprets the quote as; give what you have, there is always enough to share and walk by faith.
Sarah’s caring personality and medical expertise are two of the many reasons we have asked her to join our team. We are excited to welcome Sarah to our great team of instructors and look forward to seeing her smile in front of the class.
